Ukraine day centre

Open Thursday and Sunday afternoons (2 pm – 5 pm) at the Scots Kirk, Av. Rumine 26, Lausanne (close to Georgette bus stop).

We provide a safe space and a warm welcome for about 30 people. Visitors will be able to exchange news and advice and meet up with fellow Ukrainians.  Our volunteers offer a listening ear and they can help with local knowledge and administration.

The Centre offers internet access, light refreshments and a clothes “boutique”. And for children there will be games and various activities.

The Centre’s volunteers can also accompany refugees to meetings and/or liaise with the authorities, health services and schools.

The Day Centre is an ecumenical initiative started by Our Lady of Faith, Christ Church and the Scots Kirk churches. The Centre’s volunteers provide support to people from Ukraine irrespective of language, race, faith or gender. Its services are free. The initiative is supported by private donors and the three congregations.
